Combating the social exclusion of children and young people through music, dance, and drama.
To fight the social exclusion of children and young people through the medium of music, dance, drama and the arts in general.
To promote the education of children and young adults in ways the charity trustees think fit, including by awarding scholarships, providing for their education through the study of music and the arts and undertaking travel to further that education.
To provide support and activities for children to help develop their social skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.
Here we have come from many places. Each one with a different name, with a different language and a different song.
Yet, here we stand, shoulder to shoulder, together.
Nelson Mandela said: ‘It is in your hands to create a better world, for all who live in it.’
We can do this by choosing each other again and again. When one voice trembles, another stepping in to steady it.
When one hand tires, another reaching out to help carry the load.
Tonight, may our music be the proof – single notes but when played together, they make a beautiful symphony.
Regarding fellowship, Desmond Richmond said: ‘My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together.’
It is the warmth of being welcomed in and the peace of welcoming others to your table.
"La Comunione è un Cerchio che abbraccia tutti. In quel cerchio, nessuno rimane fuori." – Fellowship is a circle which embraces everyone. In that circle, no one is left out.
Unity means standing together. It means saying your struggle is my struggle and your hope is my hope.
We don’t need to be the same to stand together.
We only need open hearts. When we are united, we make a home where everyone belongs.
